Meet the Founder
David L. Blaydes is the founder and CEO of Retirement Planners International, Inc., and has been successfully engaged in the financial planning industry since 1977. His background and experience eminently qualify him to offer comprehensive planning. By doing this he helps fulfill the needs of individuals faced with financial decisions, with emphasis on retirement and severance planning. Mr. Blaydes earned a Bachelor Degree in Business from Olivet University. He’s holds designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTMpractitioner (CFP®) http://www.cfp.net/learn/ethics.asp since 1987 and has been a member of the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP) since 1986. He has also been listed in the "Who`s Who of Business and Finance.” Mr. Blaydes is also a Certified Retirement Plans Specialist.
In addition, Mr. Blaydes has appeared on numerous television programs as a financial planning expert including "Smart Money", the NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, and multiple episodes of TLN "Money IQ". His views and comments have been published by numerous magazines and newspapers such as Crain’s Chicago Business, Daily Herald, Financial Advisor Magazine, and Registered Rep Magazine.
Mr. Blaydes resides in Naperville, IL with his wife Susan. They have lived in Naperville since 1985, raising their four children Bridgette, Lauren, Megan and JD.
